General Terms and Conditions of Sale

  1. Company details

DOG VALLEY is a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with share capital of €150,000, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 944 905 389, with its registered office at 38 Avenue Jacqueminot, 92190 Meudon.

2. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all dog boarding and daycare services provided by DOG VALLEY, whether booked through our website, by telephone or on site.

3. Admission requirements

The client confirms that they own the animal entrusted to us. Only dogs that are identified by microchip or tattoo, properly vaccinated — required vaccinations: CHPPiL and kennel cough — and in good health are admitted. The vaccination record must be provided before the dog arrives at the resort. Aggressive, contagious or sick animals will not be admitted. Dogs that are reactive towards people or other dogs are not accepted, as our resort operates mainly with areas where dogs enjoy supervised freedom together. Female dogs in season are not accepted for reasons of safety and collective wellbeing. Category 1 and 2 dogs, defined under French law as attack or guard dogs, are not admitted.

4. Booking and advance payment

A booking is confirmed only after advance payment of 100% of the total service price. This payment is refundable if the booking is cancelled at least 48 hours before the stay begins.

5. Cancellation

Clients may cancel their booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the stay. After this deadline, the advance payment is retained in full as a cancellation charge.

6. Veterinary care and emergencies

If an injury or illness occurs during the stay, staff will first try to contact the owner to agree on what action to take. If the owner cannot be reached, DOG VALLEY staff are authorised to consult a vet and arrange necessary care without waiting for the owner’s permission. The resulting costs are payable solely by the client, upon presentation of supporting documents.

7. Early departure

If the client collects their animal before the scheduled end of the stay, they may receive a proportional refund for unused days, except where the departure results from exclusion for failure to meet the admission requirements.

8. Prices and payment

The applicable prices are those in force at the time of booking and include all taxes. The balance is payable when booking or, at the latest, on the animal’s arrival, unless otherwise agreed, for example for monthly subscriptions. Accepted payment methods are bank card, cash and bank transfer.

9. Liability

DOG VALLEY undertakes to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the dogs entrusted to it, but cannot be held liable for injuries or deaths caused by undisclosed illnesses, behavioural disorders or force majeure.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent court is the court for the location of DOG VALLEY’s registered office.

11. Acceptance

Booking a stay with DOG VALLEY constitutes unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Privacy Policy — DOG VALLEY

1. Data controller

2. Data collected

We collect only the data needed for:

  • managing bookings and billing: first name, surname, address, email and telephone number;
  • your dog’s wellbeing: name, age, identification, vaccinations and veterinary history;
  • safety and continuity of service: an emergency contact.

We also collect technical data through cookies, including browsing activity, preferences and statistics.

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is used to:

  • manage bookings and contracts;
  • provide appropriate care for your animal;
  • communicate with you by email, text message or telephone;
  • meet our legal obligations;
  • improve our service and the website experience through relevant statistical analysis.

4. Legal bases

  • Performance of the contract: booking, service provision and billing;
  • Legal obligations: health and safety, accounting;
  • Consent for cookie management.

5. Retention periods

  • Booking and billing data: 5 years for tax and accounting compliance.
  • Technical and cookie data: limited to the validity of your consent, in accordance with our cookie banner.

6. Recipients

Your data may be accessed by:

  • Dog Valley’s internal teams;
  • our technical service providers, including hosting and CRM providers;
  • vets in an emergency.
    We do not sell or monetise your data.

7. Security

We implement appropriate measures, including HTTPS, secure passwords, restricted access and backups, to protect your data.

8. Cookies

We use:

  • technical cookies for website operation;
  • analytics and statistical cookies;
  • advertising cookies, with your consent.
    You can manage or refuse them through your browser or our cookie banner.

9. Your rights

You have the following rights:

  • access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability;
  • withdrawal of consent;
  • the right to determine what happens to your data after your death.
    To exercise your rights, contact junior@dogvalley.fr, or write to our registered office with proof of identity. We will respond within one month, or three months for complex requests.

10. Policy changes
