€95 for the Signature Day, everything included. No extras, ever. That covers the return shuttle from your door (within our pick-up zone), the forest walk, the afternoon activities in our purpose-built facilities, the freshen-up before your dog comes home, and the evening photo report.

Elsewhere, transport is billed per journey, grooming costs extra, and you pay for the trial day. Here there is never a second line on the invoice — the same goes for our boarding.

And you are not paying for someone to watch your dog. You are paying to have nothing left to organise: no drive, no slot to arrange, no dog circling the flat at 8pm because his afternoon was empty once the morning walk was over.

There is nothing extra for you to do: the shuttle collects him from your home between 7.30am and 9am and brings him back between 4pm and 5.30pm. In between, he spends the day across 5 hectares — that’s 50,000 m², roughly 12 acres — with forest, a pool, a pond and a scent garden, instead of going round in circles on concrete.

You keep the convenience of a daycare down the road; he gets a real day outdoors.

The Dog Van comes to you, your dog travels safely secured, and he is never alone.

The journey is part of the day rather than something to get through: he climbs in with dogs he knows, the driving is calm, and the team is the same every morning, so he sees familiar faces. The van has large windows so he enjoys the trip from the moment he gets in.

On a 5-hectare Canine Resort at Saint-Chéron, purpose-built to host dogs — not a house or a converted flat with a garden behind it.

Five hectares is 50,000 m², about 12 acres. Most places that describe themselves as being “in the countryside” are working with a fenced plot of a few thousand square metres. The difference isn’t cosmetic: it decides whether your dog can genuinely run, move between several different environments during the day, and step away from the group when he needs to.

It shows in the details: fencing built for dogs that actually run, separate areas for each group, an air-conditioned indoor space for the afternoon nap, a pool, a pond, a scent garden and a balance course. Nothing is improvised, so nothing depends on the weather or on how the day happens to be going.

A place built for dogs, not a house where dogs are kept.

With other dogs, yes. With people, not necessarily. And your puppy is welcome as soon as his vaccinations are done.

There is one firm condition: your dog must not be reactive towards other dogs — that is what we check together during the sociability test, free of charge.

If he is shy, reserved or wary around people, that is not an obstacle: our trainers take the time he needs.

For puppies there is no need to wait. As soon as the vaccinations are up to date he can come — and that is precisely the window when meeting other dogs in a supervised setting does him the most good. Depending on size and breed, an unneutered or unspayed dog may be accepted up to around 8–10 months, following assessment by the team. Beyond that age, neutering or spaying may be required to preserve the balance of the groups.

We look at his energy level, his age, his play style and who he gets along with. A small, sturdy dog is often more comfortable with calm big dogs than with highly strung small ones — and the reverse is just as true. Smaller dogs also have their own dedicated space, the Mini Valley, if they are happier there.

The result: your dog doesn’t have to adapt to the group — the group is built around him.

9.30am arrival. 10am forest walk. 12.30pm lunch and a quiet nap somewhere cool. 3pm activities: pool, pond, scent games. 4.30pm the journey back to Paris.

The point isn’t to keep him busy non-stop, it’s to balance him out: he runs, he sniffs, he plays, then he genuinely sleeps.

That is the difference between an exhausted dog and a settled one — and you’re the one who notices it in the evening, when he falls asleep instead of asking to go out.

He burns it off in the morning, recovers at midday, and comes home settled.

You are told immediately — not that evening, not when he gets home.

Groups are put together and supervised by trainers, so tension is spotted and defused before it becomes a problem. If your dog needs quiet, or isn’t comfortable that particular day, he isn’t left in the group to “get used to it”: he has his own individual chalet with a private yard, separate from the others.

If he is injured, our partner vet is 3 minutes from the resort and your dog is taken there straight away. Dog Valley carries professional liability insurance.
